Madelyn ilana is an energetic herbalist and a bodyworker, focusing her practice on subtle energies. She integrates Reiki, CranioSacral Therapy, and Body Dialogue™  -- a unique form of somatic healing work focused on structural alignment, releasing tension and constriction, and opening the breath.
 
In her treatments, Madelyn uses gentle touch to provide a sense of deep relaxation, opening the body to greater flow and vitality. She calls her treatments Somatic Energy Healing, as we work through the body to release constriction and tension, allowing your body's own self-healing to take place.

 

Madelyn has a trauma-informed approach and her treatments are gentle yet deep.

A Somatic Energy Healing session can be combined with personalized herbal formulations and flower essences to support your health and well-being.

 

Madelyn practices in West Asheville at the clinic Point Center. She trains closely with the founder, Alison Colberg, L.Ac Dipl.OM (NCCAOM) a Chinese Medicine practitioner and Daoist martial artist.

Madelyn holds clinical certifications in herbal medicine from both the Florida School of Holistic Living and the Blue Otter School of Herbal Medicine in Siskiyou, CA.  

 

She is a certified practitioner and teacher of Body Dialogue™ and she works in close partnership with the modality's founder  Janice Stieber-Rous. Janice and Madelyn have facilitated workshops and retreats together in Florida, North Carolina, and online. They have co-authored multiple online courses which can be found at www.bodydialogues.com

 

Her Reiki practice began over 12 years ago, and is deeply connected to her training in Daoist internal martial arts. Madelyn received her third Reiki Master certification from Lisa Toney, LMT in the summer of 2017.

Madelyn also holds certifications in CranioSacral Therapy from Lisa Upledger, DC, who she continues to train with in Jupiter, Florida.
